Peer-review Institute Statute on the Peer-review Institute of the Academic-and-Research Journal “Diagnostic radiology and radiotherapy”

  1. According to the “Guidelines for authors” all the articles submitted to the publisher’s office will be reviewed. Reviews of the arrived manuscripts are stored in edition within 5 years.
  2. The reviewer is selected by the Executive secretary of the journal from among the members of the editorial board, advisory board (as agreed upon with the editor-in-chief of the journal) or the number of leading specialist in the appropriate field.
  3. Terms for review preparation are set by an agreement with the reviewer, but do not exceed three weeks.
  4. In case of appreciative review, the article is put under discussion by editorial board to decide on the matter of publication.
  5. If the reviewer provides any comments on the article, which require collaboration with the author for their elimination, the paper is sent back to the author for the revision.
  6. Terms of the article revision by the author, in accordance with the foregoing observations provided by the reviewer, are no more than three weeks.
  7. Amended article is subjected to the subsequent reviewing. Herewith, the reviewer draws a conclusion on the possibility of its publication.
  8. In case of appreciative review, the article is put under discussion by editorial board to decide on the matter of publication.
  9. In case of adverse review, the paper goes to another reviewer for further consideration.
  10. In case of double adverse review, the author receives substantiated refusal to publish his work.
  11. If the second review is favorable (see item 9), the matter of publication is brought to the session of the editorial board.
  12. The contents of each journal issue are subjected to approval at the session of the editorial board, where reviewers’ opinion is taken into consideration to resolve the issue of publication of every article. 
  13. Reviewing is carried out through the principle of privacy and confidentiality. Reviewer ID is reported to an author only by the permission of the reviewer himself.
